SCRIPT CONSULTING

I’ve been critiquing scripts for clients for twenty plus years. In all that time, one script arrived close to agent-ready. Screenwriting is that difficult.

Because finding someone “real” (agent, producer, etc.) who will read your work is as rare as getting struck by lighting while being eaten by a shark, if you get that opportunity, don’t waste it. If your friends aren’t at a higher skill level than you, I don’t know what else to suggest but pay someone for notes.

I’m not in the “string ’em along to squeeze more money out of ’em” business. I give masses of notes to launch you into a helpful rewrite.

Consulting Packages

  • Idea Workshop – 1 hour phone call – $200
  • Outline Review – 2 hour minimum (1 hour to read, 1 hour phone call) – $400
  • Full Story Development – Following the Key to Storytelling Method (writing exercises, feedback, handouts, and script notes through first draft) – $4,000 (same for TV)
