D-Day Anniversary – Bloody Omaha

It wasn’t worth it for all the guys who died here in 1945 just to make this cool little video, but it was certainly worth the D-Day invasion to get all the nifty movies we’ve seen since then.  Well, that and freedom from Nazi enslavement.

This video shows what some clear thinking fellows with a good plan can accomplish with not a lot of money and a ton of effort.  Sort of like writing screenplays, eh?  Apply butt to seat and extract cleverness!

Apparently, they were hired by the BBC to do the invasion sequence for a movie the Beeb made.  This is the “making of.”

Plus, a little Frankie Goes to Hollywood never hurt anybody.
